EDUCATION
She graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 1983. with an average grade of 8.78. She passed her specialization in pediatrics in 1994 at the University Children's Clinic in Belgrade with an excellent grade, where from the very beginning of her education she focused on pediatric pulmonology and allergic diseases in children. After completing her specialization, she works as a pediatrician at the Pediatrics Clinic in Kragujevac, in the department of pediatric pulmonology, where during her 30 years of work, she significantly improved the protocols for diagnosing and treating allergic and lung diseases in children in line with world standards. She was the Head of the Polyclinic Reception Diagnostic Department of the Clinic for Pediatrics and the Head of Pulmonology at the University Hospital Kragujevac.
She defended her Master's thesis in Pediatric Pulmonology in 1997. entitled "Histamine concentration in plasma in children with asthma" at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. In 1998, she was elected to the position of assistant for the subject of Pediatrics. since when he actively participates in teaching as well as in the creation of student papers. He has been a member of the European Association of Pulmonologists (ERS) since 1998. at whose congresses she actively participated and presented as an author and co-author. She defended her doctoral thesis on May 11, 2009. year entitled "Assessment of quality of life in children with asthma before and after therapy with inhaled glucocorticoids" at the Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac. She was elected to the position of assistant professor of Pediatrics in September 2011, and to the position of associate professor in January 2019. Since 2012, she has been a member of the Republic's Expert Commission for Respiratory Diseases.
He is retired from October 1, 2023. years.
